Windows 2000/NT Setup Instructions
- Select Start and then Settings.
Click on Network and Dial-up Connections.. - Double click Make New Connection.
- Click Next
- Select Dial-up to the Internet.
Click Next. - Select I want to set up my Internet connection manually...
Click Next. - Select I connect through a phone line and a modem.
Click Next. - Insert Area code and Telephone number.
Do not check the "Use area code and dialing rules" box
Click Next - Insert your User name and Password, (all lowercase).
Click Next. - Enter MATNET.
Click Next. - Make sure Yes is selected on this screen.
Click Next. - Insert the name you would like displayed on your emails,
(this will be the name in the "FROM" box when you send e-mails). - Under Incoming mail server, insert mail.matisp.net.
Outgoing mail server should also be mail.matisp.net.
Click Next. - Insert your email username under Account name (without the@matisp.net)
Insert the password associated with that account.
Check the box marked "Remember Password"
Click Next. - Click Finish.
Your computer is now configured to connect to the Internet.
