Windows XP Setup Instructions
- Begin by clicking on the Start button at the bottom left side of your desktop.
Then move the mouse over to Control Panel and click. - Click on Network and Internet Connections
- Click on Network Connections
- Click on Create a new connection
- Click Next.
- Select Connect to the Internet by clicking in the circle next to it (below).
Click Next - Select Set up my connection manually by clicking in the circle next to it (below).
Click Next. - Select Connect using a dial-up modem by clicking in the circle next to it (below).
Click Next. - Type in MATNET as seen below
Click Next. - Type in 464-9982.
Click Next. - Select Anyone's use by clicking in the circle next to it (below).
Click Next. - In the following boxes:
- Type in your Username, (all lowercase) and press the tab key.
- Type in your Password, (all lowercase), and press the tab key.
- Confirm your password by typing it in a second time.
- Check boxes one and two.
- Check box three ONLY if you are sure it is not proxied.
(Check with MatNet if you are not sure.) - Click Next.
- Click on the box labeled Add a shortcut to this connection to my desktop.
Click finish.
